About Tate
Introducing Tate
Born in a backyard to a stray mum, Tate has become a sweet, affectionate boy who loves laps and playing with his siblings and his foster carer's children. He'd make a great addition to a family that can give him lots of playtime and cuddles!
Tate has been:
- Tried with children and loves them
- Tried with cats and loves them
- Tried with dogs and is a little unsure of them
***Please note that Tate has a mild non-progressive health condition that he was born with. It doesn't affect his life expectancy at all and can be discussed with potential adopters***
***To be kept indoors or with access to a secure cat enclosure only***
Tate is approximately 14 weeks old and his adoption fee of $200 includes:
- Desexing
- Vaccination
- Microchip
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current wet and dry food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get him started.
Tate can be met at his foster carer's home at Murray Bridge.

Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
