About Luna

Sweetheart Luna is a 3 year old English Staffy mix who is on the hunt for a very special forever home.
Luna is an absolute sweetheart! She is extremely loving and affectionate and loves all humans. She will sit with you all day and lay next to you all night. Luna regularly goes to the off-leash dog park where she is a social butterfly! She welcomes every person arriving and also farewells them when they leave. She is the the Queen of the social committee. Luna is fantastic with other dogs her size or larger. She’s not as sure about small dogs as they can get into her personal space and scare her, so she wouldn’t be suitable in a home with a small pooch.
Luna is a very pretty girl with the most gorgeous almond shaped eyes. Her coat is soft and shiny and her teeth are strong and white. She is up to date with vaccinations and worming and is very healthy.
Luna found herself searching for a new home after a marriage break down. She was rehomed with her current humans 3 months ago. Unfortunately her human was on holiday at the time so they had no idea Luna suffered from separation anxiety. Since her family have gone back to full time work, Luna has been escaping her yard and she is very good at it. Luna never attempts to escape when someone is home. Although her family are devastated to be finding her a new home, they only want her to be safe and happy.
Luna will be perfect for someone who is retired, works from home, or even someone that could take her to work with them. She definitely needs her humans around most of the time. She loves her humans, including children.
Luna is located in Newcastle NSW.

* Rent or own your home? Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties outlining that dogs are allowed. Our dogs and pups will only be adopted to homes where they are allowed inside to be part of the family. Real Estate approvals must state that this is permitted.�
* Opportunities for socialization outside the home? Whilst some of our dogs are best in only dog homes, most of our dogs have been provided with lots of socialisation and will need this to be ongoing.
* Work commitments? How long will the dog be on their own? �
* Why do you think this breed will be suitable for you? Breed type experienced owners will generally be given priority.
* Will you allow this pooch to live both inside and outside as part of the family? �
* Yard check will be done to confirm you have a fully fenced secure yard and adequate shelter when the dog or pup is outdoors.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family. He/she will be desexed,1st and 2nd vaccination, microchiped, wormed and flea treated regularly and a health check done by our vet .
