About Ronnie - 1.5 Year Old Wolfhound X (On Trial)
This is Ronnie, our 1 and ½ year old male Wolfhound X.
Ronnie is a young man who loves to play with a good rope toy, frisbee or tennis ball. A big bouncy boy, full of puppy energy. It brings a smile to your face when you see his happy gallop when let outside to play.
When inside with the family he is a lazy boy who will happily sleep next to you on the couch or lay on the floor watching what you’re up to. He just loves to be included as part of the family.
He will sit on command, knows his name and will come when called. He walks well on the lead, occasionally pulling to get where he would really like to sniff but with ongoing training this has begun to improve. He is responding very well to correction with verbal commands and treats.
As he is still a puppy and learning the facts of life, Ronnie will need a family dedicated to ongoing training to facilitate that he blossoms into the wonderful companion he is.
He loves to smooch and has a lot of love to give. Loyal and willing to protect his loved ones at home, Ronnie will let out a big bark or two towards strangers out from the house. He learnt quickly who the regular neighbours are in foster care and no longer barks at those he knows.
As he is a large breed, he would not be suitable for young children <10 years old. No small pets or livestock. A large yard with secure, 6ft fencing is a requirement for adoption.
We think our handsome Ronnie is great and can’t wait to see him get a home with his forever family soon!
