FRIENDLY PEPPER!
- Let Pepper add some spice to your life!
- Friendly, brave, inquisitive Pepper seems a little shy at first but curiosity soon gets the better of her.
- Pepper loves to play with toys, either solo or with a nearby human. She can entertain herself very happily.
- Pepper enjoys giving and receiving affection. She’s happy to be handled and held, and enjoys a bit of lap / chest time, too. She’s a purring champion!
- Pepper will sleep in your bed if you let her. Or anywhere else. She is quite content to stay indoors, but enjoys looking outside from a window sill or at the door.
- She will eat any pet food available (feed her before other, more grazing-inclined pets). She uses the litter box and grooms herself.
- Pepper is good with cats and dogs, but untested with children.
If you would like to meet Pepper, please complete the application form at https://aus01b.sheltermanager.com/service?account=zm1493&method=online_form_html&formid=9
Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee of $250 includes desexing, microchip (including transfer of ownership), 2 x vaccinations, flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
