About Storm
Introducing Storm!
Storm came to us as a microchipped stray at only about 5 and a half months of age. We contacted her owner who could no longer keep her, so now she is looking for her furever home where she will get all the love she deserves.
Storm is a loving, playful little pup who soaks up all the attention she can get from anyone she meets. She loves to run and play and nibble at her handlers, who have been teaching her this is not desirable and she listens quite well.
Storm seems to be great with other dogs, however they often find her a bit too full on and get over her boisterousness quite quickly. For this reason especially, she will need to meet all dogs currently in the family before she can go home to ensure they are comfortable with her.
Whilst Storm loves being around people, she has shown no signs of separation anxiety during her stay with us. Give her a couple of toys when you need to go out and she will keep herself occupied. She particularly loves soft toys, but also very much enjoys squeaky toys and tennis balls, and she will bring them back to you to throw again and again.
Storm is still getting used to walking on a lead as it seems like she hasn’t much experience with it. However given her love for food, toys and other dogs, we believe her new owners will have no trouble continuing her training using these exciting things as encouragement for her.
Being a young pup, Storm will need ongoing training and socialisation to ensure she grows up to be the best dog she can be.
If you think Storm would be the right fit for your family, please email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com to express your interest or give us a ring on 0499 900272.
Storm's adoption fee is $600 and includes her desexing, first vaccination and lifetime registration. Storm is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
