About Togo
Togo found himself admitted into a Sydney council animal shelter. We don't know any history of him prior to being at the shelter however he completed his impound time at the shelter and no owners had come forward for him.
While at the shelter the staff noticed he seemed to have a hip issue so has been released to us as a rescue group to get him attention for his hips prior to rehoming him.
Togo has been examined by the vets on 25/3 and they advised he appeared to have a hip issue from the examination and recommended xrays to check the hips.
Update 1/4. Togo has had hip xrays completed. The xrays show no obvious ongoing issues with his hips and tests performed on his hips have not revealed any current issues. Hip dysplasia has been ruled out based off the current xrays. Its been recommend that he be x-rayed again by the new owners once he turns one and has completed lots of growing just to double check his hips.
Long term, he will need an owner who is energetic and can exercise him and who how knows the requirements of the breed and can meet his needs. Is recommended to give him at least 1 hour of exercise daily.

Togo requires a home with a yard with solid 6 foot fences. No chain link fencing.
Needs a home without cats, rabbits or small dogs.
A private yard with room to run around in is a must. Sorry he will not be rehomed to a unit, townhouse or apartment living and he needs some space.
Currently he is not house trained and he will need additional training.
He has received 1 X C5 Vaccination.
He has been desexed 1/4 and has to wear a cone and will need his stitches removed around the 11/4.
Togo is now cleared to start his search for his new family and we are taking applications and will be seeking the best suited home that will meet his needs.
Located in Acacia Gardens, NSW
Sponsorship: We have incurred additional costs for xrays and and consultation on the review of his hips and any help to cover those additional costs via sponsorship is appreciated.
Note: Date of birth is estimated.
