Hi I’m Grubber by name… and grubby by nature! I like to dust bath like a chicken and mud wallow like a pig but my specialty is as a connoisseur of fine eau de roadkill, which I find is best applied liberally. Luckily I also love to play in water - creeks, ponds, bathtubs, wheelbarrows - anything that will hold a splash or two but I’m a little unsure of waves.

My favourite pastime is running around like a lunatic with my foster sister and I get very sad when she isn’t around to play so I need a home with a young and energetic playmate. They also need to be tolerant because I can be very impestuous! I am good at opening doors and wiggling under gates so I will need a secure yard. I do like to chase things but generally if my foster mum tells me no then I don’t chase them again so I can probably be taught to live with most creatures.

I am very curious and like to investigate and be involved in everything. I am not interested in games like tug or fetch but I love to use my nose and I love learning new tricks. I am a very quick learner and will do best with a family that can teach me all the things. I am a sensitive soul that does not respond well to corrections - a firm “no” is usually all I require so I am looking for a gentle trainer. I am not suited to hanging around in a yard while you go to work and am really in need of a home with lots of adventure. I am quite tireless so sometimes my foster mum puts me in my crate for some time out because I can get a little manic.

I am not the best at cuddles because I tend to wriggle and get excited but on the rare occasions I slow down enough I do love a scritch under the collar and a good belly rub. I am also good at sweeping the floor with my constantly wagging tail because I sit nicely for pats and attention.
