Never has there ever been a cat who has loved cuddles nearly as much as Yoghurt. Once he gets to know you he is a true gentleman, this boy will be the cat companion you have always dreamed of, making your lap his own as soon as you sit down, your bed his home for all the biggest cuddles anyone can give and just generally by your side wanting to be around you. Be warned Yogi is a MAFS fan and will hog the couch in his tv watching endeavours.

Yoghurt (aka Gert or Yogi) had a less than impressive start in life but has blossomed into a total love bug…. Of people, other cats not so much. So, if you are looking for the perfect one on one cat companion then look no further, you have found him!!!

Playful, joyful, sweet, happy and full of love, our boy Yogi is a darling who thoroughly enjoys playing, sitting at the back door (closed of course) or fly screen and watch the birdies for hours and hours, relishing in the wonders of the world around him. Yogi’s foster mum has said of this gorgeous guy “It feels to me like Yogi listens, like he understands. So obedient, he is really, really easy to love, really easy to have around. He might make a bit of noise at first when you leave him alone, but he settles so quickly and just asks for nothing. A total joy!”

Gert’s ideal home:
An older single or couple who have a routine based life. Someone that works from home some or all of the time would be ideal but not essential. Gert can be shy when he first meets someone but would be okay living with older teenagers who are respectful of cats too. Gert must be the only cat in his home but might be okay with a small, calm, cat-friendly dog although our preference is to find him a home where he can be the only pet if possible. Due to his fair complexion he needs an indoor only home to keep him safe from the sun.

Yoghurt is in care in Alphington, Victoria and is available for adoption in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
