About Koda
Koda is an energetic year old old German Shepherd. Her family have made the hard decision to find her a new home, as they have had to move and are unable to take her with them.
Koda has been trained to walk on a loose lead and be sociable with other dogs.
She has a lot of energy so is looking for a home with an energetic family, who have recently had a German Shepherd and understand the time, commitment and on going training she will required.
Koda loves being with her human family and would be best suited to a home where she will be an integral family member.
If you have recently owned a German Shepherd or large breed dog, and understand German Shepherd and think you have the energy to give me a new home, then please select the "Enquire about Koda"
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive to Windsor with your family and any dogs to meet Koda. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Koda is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
