About Pippin
Hi! I'm Pippin and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR PIPPIN
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM

NOTE: You are unable to meet Pippin until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Pippin in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.
What I need in my new home:
Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
Further training with basic doggie manners
To be allowed inside with my family
A cat may be ok with a slow introduction
I like both friendly male and female dogs that are playful but not too big & boisterous
Lots of toys and mental stimulation, I love to play ball and LOVE squeaky toys!
A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
A family who promise to keep me well groomed and brush me regularly so I'm always looking and feeling my best
Lots of love and attention
I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
Things that I don't want in my new home:
To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
Not to be allowed inside with my family
Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
Small children as I don't like rough play
NO SMALL ELDERLY DOGS
My best features:
Very playful
I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
I walk well on lead
I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war
Housetrained and used to being allowed inside
Where I need to improve / Training required
I am shy at first with new people and in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue on with my socialization
I may show signs of anxiety when I'm left alone in the backyard. Leaving me some enrichment toys/treats may help this.
Medical
I have been diagnosed as having grade 3 Patella issues. Corrective surgery is not required at this stage but may become necessary in the future if lameness and pain occur.
