About Seymour
Introducing Seymour.
A stunning regal gent who is very gentle and sociable - Seymour has the best of both worlds! He appreciates his own quality time, as well as spending time with his humans.
This fella is not fond of being fussed over with cuddles but can be picked up on his own terms.
Seymour loves to play with boxes: he'll jump in and out and would love you to join the game. He also likes playing with something on a rope.
This gent prefers his own company for a while, then wanders behind you when it suits him. You can often find him anywhere near you. He rarely sits on your lap; only when you're behind the computer he'll insist on jumping on it. Seymour naps in hilarious positions: on his back and paws dangling in awkward positions.
Seymour knows what 'bedtime' means, and sometimes, he'll run into the room and jump onto his choice of bed. Other times, he runs in the opposite direction and flops down, so you'll have to carry him purringly to the room.
He chooses his own sleeping arrangements for the night indoors and enjoys roaming with you during daylight hours.
Seymour can be vocal at times, especially during grooming which he tolerates for a few moments. A regular grooming session is necessary to keep his long hair nice and healthy. Clipping is a source of distress for him.
He's fully house trained. However, recently, he's had a few accidents around the house since he's moved house and isn't able to go outside. He's missing the other cats in the village and seems to be unsettled. Seymour lived with three dogs and a kitten previously and enjoyed their company. He's happy to be with small kiddos, but only when they're gentle.
Ideally, Seymour will go to a household with indoor/outdoor access, so he can meet his mates on the streets and go on little adventures.
Medical notes
Seymour has a sensitive stomach, and it is best to be consistent with his food. Currently, he is eating Royal Canin Digestive Care, and he'd like to continue eating this. He also likes to graze, which means he tends to eat more than he should! He recently had some teeth removed. He recovered very well from the surgery and has no difficulties eating.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
