My name is Squid. I love my cuddles and hanging out next to you sleeping on the couch
I love being around my current family dogs, especially playing with my foster brother, he and I were a little unsure of each other at first, but now are best of friends.
I also love being with the teenage boys of the house, they let me sleep with them if I fancy the quiet away from the other dogs.

I go for walks with all the family, my foster mum has taught me to try to behave on the lead for walks, I am much better at that, but love to try to meet other dogs to say hello when we are out. So I need a little more guidance there.

There is a clear routine with my foster family, we get up and go out, have breakfast, sleep while the others work or go to school. We then get a lovely long walk from one of the family before a play with the other dogs, dinner then bed, I love my routines. I am good at sitting and waiting for my food, am learning to wait when asked to.

If we are left in the house on our own I may have a look on the countertops or bins for anything interesting, apparently I shouldn’t really do this, but I can’t help myself. If the food is left in my view I do think it is mine.

We went on holiday to the beach which I loved, we were there with another family who had 2 dogs, which we got on well with, one was much smaller than me, so we didn’t play, but the other was the same size and we had good fun together. I have not met a cat yet. During the day I will hang out on the chairs having a snooze, waiting for the excitement of the walk.

Did anyone mention a car? I love my road trips! Some mornings my foster mum will take me in the car to drop the boys at school, oh how I love it, with my nose out the window smelling the morning air.
