Evie was surrendered and placed into foster care heavily pregnant and with little to no human contact previously. Although timid, Evie is still young and really only a kitten herself. She is playful, inquisitive and generally sweet in nature.

Evie has never shown any defensive behaviours that you would expect in a young mum with limited human interaction. She enjoys scratches and will happily converse with you about your day in squeaks rather than meows. Sometimes, Evie forgets that she is supposed to let out a sound when she meows, and the meow is silent, whereby her mouth just opens. You can hear her squeaks radiate through the house as she talks to others or herself.

As Evie has now raised her kittens, had her vetwork completed and has been helped to optimise her health by the rescue, she is ready to find her forever home. Evie is anxious as stated before, but she will approach you and nudge up to you within a few minutes. Evie gets startled easily, so it is especially important she remains an indoor only cat to prevent her from running away or getting injured.

She knows how to open doors, and will jump up at the handle and pull it down, holding onto it until it unlatches and opens. If it fails to open, she tries again. Because of this, it is crucial that any doors that open to the outside are locked with a key.

Evie does not like being contained in one room, and although it is important for her to get used to the whereabouts of her litter box initially, it is equally important that she can have free range of your house. This also brings light to the reason why she needs to remain indoors, as her curious kitten nature that she still has, could result in injury.

Evie hopes to be able to sleep on your bed with you at night, share your couch and be loved and shown that humans can love, just as much as she can. Her gorgeous colouring, inquisitive nature, loveable characteristics and kitten antics, will warm your heart and provide you with the best friend you never knew you needed.

Evie has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flead and wormed. She has been around other cats and is familiar with cat friendly dogs from a safe distance. Evie has also been in foster care with two young children.
