Denny is a beautiful boy who loves steady and calm companionship. When Denny (and the home) is calm and happy he will happily follow you from room to room and find a comfy place to curl up in to be close. Denny is not a lap cat, however, will readily seek out affection when he'd like it in the form of pats and cuddles. He will also 'chat' to you when in a good mood or if he needs anything. In winter he enjoys hopping onto your lap for a big smooch. He is very curious and loves to explore his environment when he is happy. Denny loves his catnip toys and sitting in a sunny spot in the house. It has become evident that a young family life is too chaotic, loud and stressful for him as he finds the family movements are unpredictable and forever growing young children are overwhelming for him. Denny often removes himself to his 'quiet place' when he becomes stressed and will over groom/lick at his tail, back and front legs when he becomes stressed. He would be best suited to a home where he is the only pet and without young children, with people who are home often and have the time and patience to support his anxiousness.
