About Nelson and Ross
Please meet Nelson (left) and Ross, two older gentlemen who have been best mates for a few years now and are looking for their new forever home. Ross is the shyer of the two, but both boys are very placid, loving cuddles and treats. Can you give these gentleman a loving home?
Nelson and Ross must be adopted together as they are a bonded pair. At over five years old, they are considered seniors as the lifespan of a guinea pig is five to seven years. However with good care and nutrition, they have been known to live longer.
Adoption details
Qld Guinea Pig Refuge holds open days at the Albany Creek Scout Den in North Brisbane on the first and third Saturday of each month. All adoptions require pre-approval and your application form should be submitted for processing at least two days prior.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $25 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $35 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.
