About Darcy
At only a few weeks old, Darcy and her little siblings were rescued from Marble Bar and bought into SAFE's care where they were bottle fed until they were strong enough to take on the world.
They were very lucky to be able to join a foster home out at a cattle station where they have been living a life of luxury. Surrounded by not only each other, but dogs of all sizes and ages.
Not only is Darcy busy playing with her dog friends each day, but she has also been sharing the station with goats, sheep, cats and chickens, all who she is unphased by.
Darcy is also fine with little children, who she has been handled by and shared many cuddles with whilst in foster care.
As Darcy has grown we have noticed that one of her ears is on a slight wonk and sometimes when she runs she can be a bit lop sided. A vet has looked over her and couldn't see anything physcially wrong and that this is likely to be a something she was born with. Being a little wonky hasn't stopped her from living her best life. She is happy, loving and energetic. In fact, she is her foster families favourite one in the pack (dont tell the others!)
We are hoping to find a home where Darcy's socialisation with other animals will be continued and where she will be loved and part of a family.
Darcy is predicted to grow to a medium size - we are guessing a small staffy or blue heeler size.
Please fill out the below form with as much detail as possible. An application with photos is also much more likely to be considered. Pictures of your yard, home, other pets or family members would be great.
