About Cranky Doodle Dandy
I'm the cat equivalent of that neighbour across the street (to most people!), friendly and the occasional wave, but generally I keep to myself otherwise. I'm very handsome but it'll take AGES for me to trust you.
I purr very loudly, and I flirt with my person - showing them my tummy, rubbing against their legs and furniture, and marking them with my cheek. I enjoy grabbing my humans hand with my paws and teeth, but I'd never hurt someone! I'll sit near kids, but they aren't my cup of tea.
I enjoy being scratched, brushed, and even flirting with the long-reach-handle or the back scratcher my human uses when they can't bend down. I love food, and I'll try anything! I will jump on the bench occasionally while you're preparing dinner for me, but I'd never be rude as to try and snatch it. I just like to keep you company.
I get along well with female cats and kittens. I am not interested in outdoors and have never tried to bolt outside - it's cold out there! I tend to hide from strangers, so no worries if you have visitors, as long as I have my own space where I can see.
I'm in excellent health, and I have THE most handsome face on the planet. My colours are stunning, and my gaze is regal! While I come across as standoffish to begin with, my trust is priceless - it's hard earned and will warm your heart beyond measure. I've been told that I'm ready to move on from my foster home, so I need to find a family now. We're happy to wait for the right person, but I'd love to hear from you in the meantime!
(I can be adopted as a pair with another cat or kitten from my foster home, please mention this in your enquiry!)
