Dooby

If you've got a heart full of love & a little bit of patience, then we've got the boy for you!
Dooby is approximately 3 years old and has a rough start to life . When he came to us he was malnourished, very underweight and needed urgent eye surgery. Dooby was with us for 2 weeks before he was able to have the surgery. Because he was in such poor condition a general anaesthetic would have been dangerous for him. He was treated for fleas and worms and fed a suitable diet and after a couple of weeks he'd gained some weight and was able to have his eye surgery and be desexed. Dooby has also never been properly socialised and is scared of almost everything. He is responding well to one on one time and some basic training. But still has a long way to go. He has a very sweet and gentle nature however he does not like cats. He is very food motivated so is a fast learner but will need to remain in our care for several more weeks. He is continuing to put on weight but is still at least 10kg away from where he needs to be. At this stage we are excepting expressions of interest for potential adopters for Dooby.
