About Roy
đ¶ Please read thoroughly before applying and reference Royâs specific traits; đ¶
Roy is a mix of a few different breeds but the breed he most resembles in personality is a Great Dane; goofy, lazy and very very cuddly.
Roy is more like an old man than a young dog, he can go days and days just sitting on the couch not batting an eyelid!
He is a stunning mastiff type with a huge broad chest and gorgeous markings. He weighs about 30 kilos.
He is an absolute cruiser. Every day, whatever youâre doing heâs happy to do. Even itâs lazing about for hours on end or even days- Roy is the record breaker for laziest most calm dog weâve ever fostered!
He doesnât bark, dig, or chew. He is very well behaved.
Roy has been waiting almost six months for a home. Every day in foster care is a joy with him. He is the most calm and relaxed dog we have ever had around the house.
The reason being so is that Roy is strictly not dog friendly. Roy needs a confident owner who can be vigilant on walks. He is good on the lead and doesnât pull however Roy cannot mix with other dogs.
His new owners will have to make sure they always keep Roy away from other dogs. Roy will be the most loveable lazy goofball in return.
He makes us laugh every day and he is so easy to have around house. He can be left inside all day while youâre at work no issues.
Roy just wants an owner who understands his issues and is willing to work around his tendencies with other dogs. This is not something that will change with training, Roy must not be socialised. He sadly cannot mingle with other dogs at all.
He really will be your best mate, if you are looking for someone to give endless cuddles and share the couch with then Roy is your boy!
