About Jack
Jack and his beautiful siblings were born under a bush in someone’s backyard. Our ginger ninjas and 1 matchy patchy boy are now looking for their forever homes!
Jack is a real people kitten and the most affectionate of the crew. He is people oriented, food oriented and pat oriented. Jack enjoys being close to his humans and supervising their work, study and life choices. If you make a mistake he’ll gently kneed your skin until you fix your ways and provide him with a full report and an appropriate amounts of apology pats.
Jack and his 2 brothers are all fantastic with kids, as long as the children are gentle and patient. They also get along well with the resident cat but are untested with dogs. With a slow introduction, considering their age and temperament, we predict they’d be good canine pal candidates.
If you would like to apply to adopt Jack please complete an adoption enquiry.
All Shelly’s Place kittens are desexed, microchipped , flea/worm treated and 1st vaccinated before going to their new homes.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via the JotForm.
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.../adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
