About Didgeridoo
Look at this handsome chap! If his gorgeous markings and huge smile weren’t enough to draw you in, his friendly and goofy nature sure will.
Didgeridoo has slotted into foster care really well and is enjoying all things that family life brings. He came from rural NSW, so city life is quite a change for him. He is currently living with another dog and a young child. He will be fine to live with children as long as they are dog savvy as he will occasionally knock them over or start herding them! We are looking for a working dog experienced home for Didge and someone who is going to provide him enough physical and mental stimulation to keep him happy.
Although he is doing well in Sydney, we feel this boy would be in his prime on a bit of land or at least someone with a big yard and not in the inner city. He is learning all about leashes, cafes, meeting people and dogs out and about and is doing great. He will need a confident handler who can continue to expose him to the world correctly to ensure he stays a confident and social adult.
Didgeridoo would love another playful and confident dog at home, similar size or bigger, but he will be fine as an only dog as long as someone is around most of the time. He is a very smart dog and loves to engage with his humans. He will need a good amount of daily exercise to keep him happy. He is social with other dogs and has been enjoying some beach visits recently.
He is very praise motivated and loves pleasing his handler. His basic training is coming along well, he sleeps through the night in a crate and is toilet trained. He has a slight stubborn streak that comes out occasionally if directions aren’t clear. He travels well in the car and enjoys tug toys and belly rubs!
Didge is super smart and quite independent. He would make a great farm hand (not a worker- he’s too lazy for that!) or an adventure buddy for people who like to get out and about. At home he’s a great housemate and generally is calm and has a good off switch.
Didgeridoo is looking for a home where he will be allowed inside as part of the family and be provided a warm, comfy bed inside to sleep on of a night. He is in prime older puppy stage so needs a patient home committed to lots of continued training and socialisation.
This boy is just an absolute delight and is going to make the perfect doggy companion for one very lucky home. If you are missing a spotty, smiley boy in your life then fill out our adoption application form from our website as the next step in the process.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
