Charlie

Charlie is a 7 year old Chocolate and White Border collie. He came into rescue due to a family separation. He has previously lived with female Border Collies. He is now living with a male Beagle pup and lots of smaller dogs . He is respectful with the older dogs and plays with the younger ones

Charlie is a good natured companionable dog who would suit someone who worked from home or had a few acres or has an active life . Charlie is good with fences and has great recall. Charlie is wonderful with children

He can sit on command , shake and stays with you if are outside pottering around or gardening , He is well behaved when he comes inside and is now sleeping inside at night .

Charlie would be fine with another friendly dog or possibly on his own as long as he isnt left all week by himself. Charlie has met a cat and keeps away from them

Charlie is good on a lead mostly but hasnt had much exposure to new things so can get keen to meet everyone he sees on a walk. , so needs a little more training , He is good in the car and around livestock

He is in foster care in Hinton near Maitland
