Hi there,

My name is Sonny and I am a little ray of sunshine.

I am a staff favourite at the shelter and have spent quite a bit of time in the office with the behaviour team. I am a young boy who can be a bit timid at times and needs an owner that will be able to understand my needs. I have a few special things that I require in my furever home.

I would be best suited to a home with no kids under 16. I can be a bit jumpy at times and can be a bit unsure of fast movements and loud noises. In saying this I would also prefer a household that is quieter and where I can be introduced to new things slowly.

I would be best suited to a house hold with no other dogs. I am undersocialised and have not been around other dogs much. I would not be suited to go to dog parks or highly dog populated dog areas. In saying this I am very food motivated and have been working on manners how to behave around other dogs and would love to continue this.

I would love to have indoor/outdoor access where I can spend time both inside and outside with you. I regularly come into the office any lay in the crate or on the lounge and sleep or keep myself occupied with chewing a treat or playing with toys.

I need an experienced owner that understands dogs that show some fearful behaviours to help me build up some confidence. I will need someone to take it slow with me and not do too many fast movements or have a noisy area/ household.

I will need ongoing training to continue to teach me skills and help me to socialise. I am very very food motivated so this will make training lots of fun.
