Lady Blanche is a confident, sweet, happy lady who loves nothing more than a good bowl of food and someone to hang out and nap with.

Although her first 9 years of life have not always been the kindest to her she is unconcerned and looks forward to getting her next cuddle or meeting a new friend. She has shown her foster parents how loving and quirky she can be as she often lets them know it’s late by taking herself to bed at 8pm or meowing even if no sound comes out.

This sweet little cloud will try and lead you to the bowl any chance she gets in case you might drop some food in there. While in care she has had a major dental operation with several teeth removed and while she needs her teeth to be monitored as she ages she is happy to eat her oral care food. As far as exotics go she is quite low maintenance! Her coat only requires a quick brush once a week to get all the excess fur out, she would also be fine to be professionally groomed as she has been previously. She is happy to have her eyes cleaned and this would need to be done on a daily basis with a chin wipe occasionally to keep her clean and tidy.

Lady B is unfazed by her feline foster siblings and just tends to do her own thing, she is much more interested in hanging out with her people on the couch or the bed. Blanche would be very happy as an only cat but would be fine to live with a proven cat-friendly cat. As Blanche is more interested in her people over the other cats at home she shouldn’t be expected to be their new best friend but to simply co-exist with them at her own pace. She has also lived with a dog previously so she would be fine to live with a respectful small to medium size dog.

Lady Blanche’s hobbies include:
- watching the world go by at the front door
- naps in the window (and naps in general)
- pats and chin scritches (I am a purr machine)
- hanging on the lounge or bed with you
- scratching my scratching post
- playing with thing on a stick for short periods (I am older after all).

Blanche is in care in Maryville, NSW and is available for adoption in Newcastle and surrounding suburbs.
