About Jarrah
Medium Female Stafforshire Terrier Mix
Affectionate and loving Jarrah
Do you need a little ray of sunshine in your life? Jarrah is the sweetest pup you could meet. She is very timid but given the right home environment she becomes very dedicated to her human family. She bonds incredibly strongly with her ‘special person’ and can become worried when she is left alone for too long. She is super affectionate, quiet and very well behaved. She loves to cuddle on the lounge and will follow your every move or make sure she can see you at all times. Jarrah has basic obedience and politely sits and waits for her food. A home where she has access inside with owners who involve her in outings and every day life would be ideal.
Jarrah cautiously enjoys adventures off lead where she doesn’t have to encounter many people. When people do approach she is easily overwhelmed and usually makes a wide berth to avoid people getting too close. She will come on command when called and travels well in the car. She is toilet trained.
Jarrah is happy and more confident when she is with her doggy friends. She is most secure beside her Kelpie companion as she looks to her for guidance and reassurance. She would be most suited to a family who already have a dog so she can continue to benefit from a similar bond.
Given Jarrah’s cautious (never aggressive) disposition it is evident that she has not experienced enough positive human interactions. An owner who is willing to be patient and compassionate to help build her confidence and work towards reducing her anxiety around people is a must.
This young pup deserves nothing but the best in life. Are you the perfect match for Jarrah?
