About Boss ~ 12yr Old Staffy X (On trial 7/5/22)
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provide individual listings specific to each foster dog that comes through our doors. Each listing outlines the specific requirements, and home that we are looking for. Should you submit an application OR inquiry and NOT receive a response within 5 business days (Monday-Friday), please understand that you have not met the specific requirements of the foster carer and will not be proceeding to the next stage. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged if you do not receive a reply, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time. Dog Rescue Newcastle reserve the right to not reply to unsuitable applicants and will not tolerate bullying, intimidation or harassment of our volunteers
Meet Boss he is a 12 year old tan Staffy X , he is a beautiful teddy bear. Boss loves all the attention he can get. He is a quiet , well mannered old man.
Boss loves car rides and is always up for an adventure whether that is to go for a walk or coming for a drive with his foster parents. Boss is an older dog so loves spending his time sleeping, getting cuddles and pats. Although boss is an old man he has random spurts of energy that don’t last to long and is soon back to sleep.
Since coming into care Boss has fast adapted and settled in amazingly into his new environment. Boss sleeps inside in the laundry on his bed but is happy to sleep outside undercover as-well. Boss is currently not toilet trained although when he is inside he is starting to wait at the door to be let out to go to the toilet, with further training Boss would adapt his toilet training skills further.
Boss would need to be in a home where he gets lots of attention, love, high fences and an undercover area for him to sleep as that’s what he does most of the day. Boss enjoys being around other dogs and has shown no aggression towards them although I feel an older dog to match bosses energy levels would be best. Boss has been around older children and younger children and is very gentle with them. Boss would ideally be re-homed in a home without small children as he is still quite strong and does love his own time and to be left alone to sleep.
For more information on Boss please contact his foster carer on their email Chloe.Elizabeth.davis23@gmail.com, Boss is in foster care in Point Clare in the Central Coast Region NSW.
Boss' adoption fee is $150 which includes all up to date vet work. Boss has recently been desexed and has all of his vaccinations microchip flea and worming medication completed. If you are interested in adopting Boss please fill out an adoption form https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt.
