About Bambi and Millie
Please welcome Bambi and Millie who are located in South-East Qld. These lovely girls have almost had their vet work completed and we are ready to start the search for their new family.
đ€©Important information to read before applyingđ€©
*We are looking for a home where Bambi and Millie can remain together as they are very bonded. They do get on with their foster fur buddies but are always not far away from each other. Due to a past eye injury and operation on Bambi's eye leaving little vision in her left eye we would prefer a home with no cats to reduce the risk of injury to her remaining eye.
*Both girls enjoy a daily walk and are very social so they must go to a family who will continue to walk them daily (weather permitting) and take them on adventures and include in everyday life activities. Millie will need to lose a bit more weight however her weight loss journey has begun in foster care đ Millie will also require ongoing training with learning the basics such as sitting and staying. Both girls are toilet trainedđ
*Bambi can climb a few stairs but is hesitant to go down stairs so a one level house would be preferable. Both girls like to sleep near their foster Mum on a doggy bed in the bedroom and given the chance on the bed. A similar arrangement would need to be continued.
*The girls love cuddle time on the couch and like playing with toys. They seem fine with children but sometimes Millie can get under foot and give toes a nibble for attention đ
*Bambi will be 4 this year and Millie will be 2 and they both have a lot of love to give. They will need to live indoors without restrictions with access to a securely fenced yard for playtime.
*The girls foster Mum describes them as the perfect package.
Please note we do receive many applications and all will be reviewed carefully by their foster carer to find the best fit for Bambi and Millie. If your application is shortlisted you will receive a call to discuss further details. As we are run solely by volunteers we are not able to contact all applicants only those shortlisted. Any applicants shortlisted must be available to travel for a meet and greet. Bambi and Millie will be rehomed in South-East Qld only so anywhere from the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich or Toowoomba will be considered đ
