About Frankie ~ 6yr Old Beagle X(On Trial 21/4/22)
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provide individual listings specific to each foster dog that comes through our doors. Each listing outlines the specific requirements, and home that we are looking for. Should you submit an application OR inquiry and NOT receive a response within 5 business days (Monday-Friday), please understand that you have not met the specific requirements of the foster carer and will not be proceeding to the next stage. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged if you do not receive a reply, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time. Dog Rescue Newcastle reserve the right to not reply to unsuitable applicants and will not tolerate bullying, intimidation or harassment of our volunteers
Introducing Frank, a gorgeous handsome 6 year old Beagle X boy.
We are uncertain of his history but he is a known escape artist and will require a well contained escape-proof yard. Like a typical hound dog he is eager for his twice daily walk for scent fulfillment and socialisation. He is good with other dogs and patient with annoying snappy dogs. He is unresponsive to cats but not cat tested.
Frank is a very affectionate boy who loves knowing who his person is or people are. He loves knowing you are around or seeing you return from work, hearing your chattering voice and receiving cuddles. He is good inside and outside. He will be happy to snooze all day if no one is home but he does love company so probably wouldn’t like to be left alone every day unless with another dog.
Frank has not had much interaction with kids but if you can offer a loving environment with a fully fenced secure yard (this is a non-negotiable) he would love to meet you!
For more information or to meet Frank, please contact his foster carer Larrell on their email lmwright@live.com.au, if you are interested in adopting Frank please fill out an adoption application form here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt.
Please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt (Frank - Beagle). Please do not just list the reference number, microchip number or rehoming organisation number as this will delay your application in reaching the correct foster carer.
Frank is currently located in Newcastle NSW. Interstate adoptions will be considered on a case by case basis. His adoption fee is $600 and covers desexing, vaccination, microchipping and treatment for fleas and worms.
Please consider the breed of the dog you are wanting to adopt and whether you are able to cater for them the entirety of their life. Each breed has distinct breed traits but each dog is different despite this hard wiring. In some cases DNA can be superseded with nurturing and behavioural training.
