14 weeks of age
Hi there, I'm Lucas and this is my brother Leon.
A couple of weeks ago you might have seen our brother Barney on here too.
We came from a big family of kitties and we have not had a good start in life.
Born under a building in an isolated location with no human contact, we caught ringworm, cat flu and had yucky intestine worms too.
Luckily the Ranger caught us and helped us get to safety but it took us a long time to start trusting our foster mum and understand that we don't need to be afraid.
We're still very unsure of new people and places. It's essential that our new families be very patient to help us settle in and learn how to be happy members of the family.
We would love to go to homes with other friendly cats who can teach us all about being brave and sociable.
Or just with people who can give us time to be our best.
Leon is getting quite sociable now. He even smooches his foster mum and has learned to enjoy pats! He's going to warm up quickly in a loving home. He is very small and scrawny and needs a family who can help him thrive.
Lucas is the most timid of his whole family. He's also the biggest and most robust! He likes to play and now tolerates handling from his foster mum without hissing all the time. He needs time and compassion from a family.
These boys are located in Northam.
They are being desexed, microchipped and vaccinated today and will be ready for adoption this weekend.
If you would like to offer a home to a kitten in real need, look no further!
We are offering these boys free/by donation as they are less adoptable and deserve homes.
But we still incur the same vet costs as for any other cat so if you can make a donation to help, it will be much appreciated.
Please message the page or email avonvalley@safe.org.au if you would like to adopt.
