About Merlin
🧙‍♂️ Magic and mystical Merlin 🧙‍♂️
“Hey there! The name’s Merlin. My foster family are busy writing up my profile so be sure to check back in soon! I need a relaxed home that isn’t too chaotic because I am a little limited with my vision, and I need to be kept indoors or confined to a cat run. I’m great with kids, dogs, and especially other cats.”

Age: 5 months
Gender: Male
Suburb: Aveley
Adoption Fee: $275
Merlin’s adoption fee includes a veterinary health examination followed by sterilisation, microchip, up to date vaccination/s and treatment for parasites.

Medical notes
Medical Note: Merlin was exposed to a widespread disease commonly known as Cat Flu (Feline Herpes Virus). He showed signs of illness, was treated, and recovered well. This virus is a common respiratory disease in cats and varies in severity. The virus usually attacks the respiratory tract (nasal passages and lungs), eyes, or both. Signs of illness may or may not develop again over time and veterinary treatment might be required. As usual, regular vaccinations are important to protect Merlin and other cats within the same living space should be up to date with vaccination. As a result of a congenital disorder and this illness being left untreated for an extended period of time, Merlin has had an eye removed.
Important note: Merlin has pale features that increase the risk of sun damage and can lead to skin cancer. It is recommended that cats who are susceptible to sun damage are kept indoors and confined to a cat run for the morning and evening sun if they enjoy the outdoors.
Important note: Merlin has had an enucleation (eye removal) due to sustaining a previous trauma to the eye. One eyed cats are at a disadvantage with their limited vision and are at greater risk of injury. Because of this, one eyed cats should be kept indoors and confined to a secure cat run.
