About Kaleesi
Best friend alert! Kaleesi will make you fall in love from the moment you set eyes on her. Besides being a good-looking girl, she’s got a gentle and friendly personality.
As she absolutely loves swimming and pouncing in the water, she’s got given the nickname ‘mali-gator’. She enjoys road trips, beach walks and tummy rubs. She’s also a very well-mannered doggo and has good home manners.
Kaleesi can sleep all day. You can make her really happy if she can meet your little ones; she’s got an instant love for kids! She lives to please and will do aaaaaanything for a yummy liver treat.
Being a teenager, she can be loud and dominant to strange noisy dogs, cats or pocket pets. Kaleesi has a special love for Golden Retrievers and Labradors, she thinks the world of them! She’s strong-willed and independent, so she needs firm but fair directions and commands.
Ideally, she goes to a home with good fencing and without other pet. Kaleesi needs daily walks and/or a swim at the beach. She shouldn’t be off lead in an unfenced environment due to her high prey drive.
Medical notes
Kaleesi is prone to hot spots on her lower back during the wet season. She eats dry food (Black Hawk Salmon and Patatoes) and wet food (sardines, tuna, raw chicken, bones, cooked or raw mince). You can spoil her with a carrot, liver treat, or a big raw bone from the butcher. Kaleesi moults (blow their coat) twice a year, usually in Autumn and Spring. She needs a minimum of a weekly brush to keep her coat nice and shiny.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
