NOTE: You are unable to meet Armani until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Armani in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I have never lived with a dog before and can be a bit nervous when first meeting them but then I do warm up and like to play with them.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I may be ok with cats, rabbits & fowl with a slow introduction
• I haven't lived with children before and I can be a bit shy & flighty with new people and in new situations. Due to this I can't go to a home with small children as they may accidently scare me. Teenage children who understand that they may have to take it slow with me should be fine.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Since being at the shelter I'm becoming much braver though. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• Gentle & placid
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans once I get to know you
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
•

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
• I may show possessive behaviour when eating fresh bones or something that I think is high value.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET ARMANI BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
