NOTE: You are unable to meet Bear until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Bear in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I can be hit & miss with other dogs so I will need further socialisation and training in a controlled environment. Due to this I can't go to a home with another dog.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I have previously lived with older children – 10 years and over

Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
* Any other animals.

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit on command and shake hands on command
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Social butterfly
• Love to snooze on the couch

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I am strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
