Hi! I'm Rambo and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Rambo until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Rambo in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• LARGE BREED EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I'm great with all other dogs - big, small, male or female.
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• NO CATS, RABBITS, GUINEA PIGS OR FOWL - I will bark at them and want to chase them
• A family that will love and care for me during my twilight years
• On a hot day I love to be squirted with the hose to cool me down

Things that I don't want in my new home:
To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
Not to be allowed inside with my family
Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & fowl - I think they're fun to chase

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit on command
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• Social butterfly
• I love playing fetch
• Love to snooze on the couch
• Exuberant & full of beans
• I love a chat. If I want your attention or I see some food that I may like I'll talk to you with my booming bark

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I am very strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET RAMBO BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
