Hi! I'm Nina, a new roly poly pup in the SAFE program.

Nina had a bit of a rough start and contracted Parvo and then has recently tested positive to E.canis, but boy is this girl a fighter and has survived both and now thriving.

Nina is an active girl who is looking for a home with active people that will allow her to be their companion dog, as she just LOVES people. She loves water and we think would like to be placed in a home with another dog, as she is really enjoying be part of her current pack.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.
