About Odie
Odie is a 9 month old beautiful lemon and white, tall Beagle Pup whose owner's changed circumstances meant that he is needing a new home
Odie is desexed and fully vaccinated and a picture of health. A typical Beagle, he is very friendly, energetic and loves everyone
Odie would like a home with another friendly dog about his size or smaller. Beagles are very social dogs and are always better with company . He does focus a little too much on the cats here but he doesnt chase or hurt them . He is very sweet, trainable and absolutely gorgeous . Previous experience with Beagles or similar breeds is also preferred
Odie a crate trained and house trained , although he may get a little excited occasionally , but hes tried very hard to behave. He is learning not to jump up and will sit when asked
He is strong on a lead and good in the car , but may be still a little too excitable for small children. More lead training is required or a perhaps a halti
He is proving to be fine with fencing but a solid fence where he cant see through would be better for him as he can get a little vocal if he sees something on the other side.
Odie is young and energetic and will need a large garden and someone to play with and someone to take him for walks and adventures. AND TOYS, Odie needs TOYS as he loves them to bits , literally
Odies adoption fee helps us rescue and support the many senior dogs in our Rescue , who otherwise may not get a chance.
Odie is in foster care with 6 dogs (mostly small seniors) and he is very gentle with them. We are based in Hinton near Maitland in the Hunter Valley

We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
