About Max & Jack
Do you ever just want to smoosh yourself into a big pooch's face - well you can do that with my brother Jack, he if the big boofhead smooshface but me, I'm more of a lurking in the wings snuggler and I'm Max. We are 9 and 8.5 respectively and have been brothers forever and that's how we roll.
Here is what we are looking for in the ideal adopters: people or a person over the age of fifty where their exercise expectations are regular and consistent but moderate. A rural, semi rural or country home where we can enjoy the smells of nature, walk the coastline or the river paths and just be free with our human(s). Definitely inside boys at night but happy to be out during the day if required. We are constant companions, always ready for a car ride, a sniff walk or a cuddle. Love sitting and listening to our foster mum read to us, she tells good stories. We are good boys with big hearts and want to find a home where love comes before everything.
Can you teach older boys new tricks, well I certainly hope so, we have learned a few things in foster care like how not to pull on the lead and not barge out of doorways so I guess we could learn a few more things. We are easy going boys, perfect recall and we do just prefer to toddle along with you rather than scoot off anywhere. We are an easy going couple of boys, happy around other dogs, love car rides, loves the river, the beach and even the dog park. Will guard the front door so nobody can enter without a lick and a head rub for both of us.
A little more practice with some general manners like no barging through doors, not pulling like a steam engine on lead but really that is all and foster mum will teach you her tricks for keeping us inline.
Two companions are better than one when they are so easy going as us and as adorable as us. If you are looking for a pair of scallywags who will warm your heart and bring joy to your heart then get your application in now, we want to get started on those face smooches.
