About Simba
Can you offer our sweet boy Simba a loving home 🐾🙏❤️
Simba has been at SoCares since the 1st of March and staff can’t understand why no one wants to adopt this beautiful boy.
The pound environment is starting to get to Simba and he is becoming increasingly frustrated.
Simba has started taking his frustrations out on his bedding and his dog bed by chewing on them.
This behavior isn’t something Simba has always done and once he has a family to call his own this behaviour should stop.
Simba is a very lovable dog and all he wants is for someone to love him back unconditionally and in return he will give you lots of face licks, cuddles and loyalty.
Simba is a very smart boy and knows his name and will come when called. He also knows how to sit and drop on command.
It doesn’t take Simba long to learn new routines and when his kennel is being cleaned in the morning staff let him out of lead and he always heads straight to the outdoor play area for some fun.
One of Simbas doggy friends (and he has many) is often eagerly waiting for him.
Simba loves to play, he never stops running around.
Simba gets along well with any dog and is well suited to be adopted into a family who already have a fur kid, as long as they have the same energy levels as Simba and won’t tire of his playfulness.
Simbas new family must be very active and be willing to take him on lots of adventures. The only issue Simbas new family might have on those adventures is that Simba will want to say hello to EVERYONE! People and dogs.
When Simba met some cats he was happy to sniff them, but once they hissed at him he became scared and looked to his handler for reassurance.
Staff see no reason why Simba can’t be rehomed with a cat that is used to dogs given a slow introduction.
Simba can jump pretty high, so his new home much have solid 6ft fencing.
We believe Simba would be best rehomed to a family with older children as he will jump up to play at times.
Simba is very gentle when he takes treats from your hand.
He loves to play with plush toys and doesn’t mind sharing them with his doggy friends.
You will often see him running around with a toy in his mouth wanting his doggy friends to chase him and in return he is happy to chase them.
Doesn't he sound wonderful..... a beautiful boy just waiting for an opportunity to be loved 🐾
