About Bob
Hello potential new family!
My name is Bob and I am adorable Miniature Australian Bulldog, though you could easily mistake me for a little pocket rocket!
Sadly Bob's adoption did not work out - Bob is a happy go lucky boy who loves life and loves people - Bob does not have great recall if let off a lead in a large open area and if you chase him he will think game is on and continue to run - dogs are not malicious and don't do this to simply annoy humans he just thought it was a great game.
I am 8 years old and my foster mum says I don't act a day over 2 years old - my energy level is up there with the young folks and I love to play and go for a walk and fetch with the tennis ball.
I love to play but I also love to relax - when I relax I crash - I can work up a pretty good snore - just so you know no matter where in the house you are - you know what I'm doing.
My favorite thing in life is loving my humans, getting pats and cuddles and giving them. OMG the tummy rubs – I just love tummy rubs or a good scratch behind the ear or by my tail – oh yeah, that I could enjoy all day. I am currently in care with a small child and even if I do say so myself I'm pretty good with her.
My foster mum says I'm a delight to have and one of the kindest sweetest natures she has even seen.
Since I came into care the rescue did some vet work on me - I did have a cherry eye but i had a little 'nip and tuck' and wow do i look so good! I also got desexed - I was pretty good with my cone on.
Since being with my foster family I have learnt that there are some awesome things in life - like sleeping in air conditioning (but that's a must cause of my breed).
I love people but do get sad when they get scared of me cause I’m a bulldog I’m not scary at all – my foster mum says I’m just a love bug. I am used to being able to have a nap mostly of a morning, lunchtime and evening (hee hee) and in between all that a play.
I am currently in care with other dogs - big and small and my foster mum says that just once in a while I get my cranky pants on and don't want to share toys or a pillow so I will need to go to a home with another dog who knows boundaries and is happy to let me play with toys and not try and take them off me all the time - or a home where I can be the only dog and i have a human or two that want to play with me!
I would ideally like a home where there is someone home (shift work, retired, works from home, stay home mum or dad) I’m not fussy just someone I can hang with thru the day – I would be a great secretary sleeping in your office while you work even.
I am fully house trained, leave your belongings alone and don’t keep the neighbors up barking, I think I'm a good boy and would love a home where I can show you just how much.
If you think you could make me part of your family & are interested in applying to adopt me, please send thru an adoption application.
** Please note applications will close Friday 25th March 2022 at 5.30pm

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
