Introducing this amazingly beautiful fluff ball Ben Hur

This chunky boy is a Boxer x Husky blend currency weighing in at 8.5 kilos

Ben has been living with his biological brother Gladiator and resident foster brother, kelpie Blaze. From day one Ben has been cuddly, floppy, goofy and loveable.

Ben is currently being fed 3 times a day on Savourlife ancient grains dry food and is a tremendously good eater, often sticking his nose into the other bowl. When growled at by big brother he will back off and patiently wait to see if anything is left for him and when realising there isn’t, happily returns to his own bowl. Ben is learning to take his time and to not snatch food from human hands.

Ben Hur has had 2 sets of puppy vaccines and has been wormed every 2 weeks
He is full of confidence and charisma and is an absolutely gorgeous boy

Ben loves to play whether it’s chasing your hand along the ground, tug of war or wrestling with the others or rolling around and discovering the delishness of the grass.

Ben will go hung hoe, running, playing and tripping over his own feet 😂 for ages and in true puppy form flopping down on the spot and falling straight to sleep.

Ben has had constant access to inside and out at his choice, he is toilet trained to do his business outside, however he can still slip up at times when tired or distracted so some further training and patience will be required.

He sleeps through the night cuddled up on a blanket in the lounge room but will often be found in the cool tiles next to his water bowl (his favourite toy!!!!) Ben just loves water and often buries his nose in it to blow bubbles.

Each morning when Bens humans get up he is full of energy and loves to talk to you! It would have to be the cutest sound in the world.

Ben is great with other dogs, shows interest in resident cat lily but does not chase and backs off when told to.

Ben is terrific in the car, curling up and sleeping the whole way on most trips.

Ben was a dream at the vet and everyone fell in love with his chubby belly, gorgeous face and blue and brown eyes.

Ben would do best in a family with another older and experienced dog to learn from. He will need daily exercise and enhancement through dog toys. Ben is clever and will do exceptionally well through treat training being so food orientated. Being a puppy he tends to like to chew so enrichment with chew toys and training will be a must. Ben has been around small children and is jumpy but gentle.

Ben will make an amazing addition to a family with or without children. If young children are involved they will need to remember Ben is a puppy and needs his down time and sleep.

Adoption criteria
A secure yard of larger size
Children are fine BUT must be dog experienced, mature ensure to play with him and absolutely mature enough to allow him to sleep as needed while he grows
A home with another dog is fine but we would be seeking a female of similar size who is well socialized and gentle with puppies
Puppy School and ongoing education and training throughout his life is a must
A home where his family will understand that a new puppy will be a lot of work especially while they settle into a routine and all things that come along with a baby. Chewing.crying.,toilet training, crying stealing things they should not etc
