About Elsie
APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN FOR ELSIE
Elsie is a 9 month old female Beagle x Spaniel (she has long legs).
Elsie has been social with other dogs and is untested with cats. Elsie is better suited to a home with no small children. Elise is over protective of things she thinks are hers and will need training in this aspect. During testing here at SMART, Elsie was great with removing her toys and even allowed staff to take treats out of her mouth with no issues. Elsie is very treat orientated and follows commands such as 'Sit' and 'Down'. She is fun and loving and would make a great family pet. With Elsie having Beagle in her good fencing is a must.
Elsie is vet checked, Temperament tested, De-sexed, Vaccinated, Micro chipped, Wormed and Flea treated.

Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
