About Charlie
Charlie is a fifteen month old pedigree German Shepherd who finds himself in search of a new home due to no fault of his own.
Charlie has a delightful happy personality who tries his hardest to please his humans. He is full of energy and loves to play and goof around and loves playing with the hose.
Charlie has learnt to sit, drop and stay and he will continue to thrive with consistent boundaries and positive praise from his humans. He will come to our trainer to be socialised and for additional training.
Charlie has not lived with children so is not suitable to go to a home with children under 12 years of age as he doesn't know his size and can, therefore, knock children over.
Charlie has not been tested with cats.
Charlie’s ideal family would be a fit couple with a male or female dog that is a similar age who is energetic and playful.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned this breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Charlie.
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Charlie".
Medical notes
Charlie is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
