About Persia
Introducing Persia! Persia is a gentle young soul on the look out for a new family to call her own, could you be it?
• People friendly/social – Enjoys pets and attention.
• Best as only cat – Persia is not overly cat social and prefers doing her own thing. She has met a few different cats in care and does become a little uncomfortable.
• Older confident children – Persia can still be a little started at times so it is best that he is rehomed with older household children (where applicable).
• Indoor only!
Persia’s adoption fee is $166.50 which includes pre-desex health check, desexing, worming, flea treatment and lifetime registration with the Muswellbrook Shire Council.

All animals adopted from the Muswellbrook Animal Shelter are desexed post adoption. Please be aware that you may not be able to take your new companion home the same day.

Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 3:30pm
If you already have a dog and wish to adopt another one, you will be required to visit the facility with your dog for a 'Meet and Greet' to ensure that they are compatible; appointments are essential.
All of our dogs come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, vet-checked and lifetime registered in NSW which is included in the adoption fee. All cats come desexed, microchipped, vet-checked and lifetime registered in NSW.
It's important to note that we do not desex our animals until they are adopted. To avoid disappointment please be aware that you may not be able to take your dog/cat home the day you meet them. We can usually get them desexed within 24-48 hours.
