About Sunny
Sunny was part of our Rural Pound Rescue Challenge and is finally ready to start the search to find his perfect match.
Handsome. Happy. And playful.
He’s around 12 months of old and is looking for a home that will continue the training he has started whilst in foster care. He is showing to he learning things now at 12 months rather than the usual puppy stage.
However he has shown to be good with all people he has met and great with other dogs. He isn’t quite sure how to play with kids so we would suggest a home with dog savvy kids over the age of 10 who are confident with larger dogs.
We aren’t too sure on his breed mix but would say he has some hound and some kelpie in the blend. A typical and fabulous Tiki special!
Sunny is searching for a home that indulges in daily exercise and the allowance to sleep inside especially at night time. He would love to share his home with another playful and social pooch but may suit being an only dog for the right home.
He hasn’t met any pocket pets/ livestock or cats so we aren’t too sure how he would match with these. His new home will have fencing 5ft and over; secure from holes and gaps.
Sunny is looking for a good perfect match who can showcase the amazing personality he has with a little training work and continued socialisation. He is located in the Maitland area and ready to meet his people now.
His adoption fee is $550 and he’s available for NSW or ACT adoption.
Rental homes must have written permission for the allowance of a dog at the listed address.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
