Harley ~ 8yr Old German Shepherd(On Trial 3/4/22)

Is Harley your new best friend? Harley is a gentle and people loving 8 year old German Shepherd who just wants to be by your side for walks, play time and cuddles.

Harley is a happy boy who loves everyone he meets but has found himself looking for his forever home through no fault of his own. He is an easy going fella who is happy to chill out with you and can also relax on his own when you have to go out.

During his time in care he has shown his best manners by not jumping, digging chewing or barking whilst in the yard. He sits well and waits for his meal and is very gentle with the children and older dog he is currently living with. Harley knows how to use a doggy door and is toilet trained so would love his forever home to allow him both inside and outside.

Harley's previous home was on a property and was able to wander and visit neighbouring dogs when he desired, so being restricted on a lead when seeing another dog is a bit of a change now in foster care. Because of this he will sometimes pull the lead or bark to tell you he wants to play so he would love if his new owner could take him to off leash beaches or parks once they have built a bond. Being in his older years he is also happy to stay at home and run for the ball if he has a yard big enough to play in.

Harley is healthy and active but entering his older years and showing minor signs of arthritis. His forever home would need to have the financial means to be able to start him on supplements or medication in the future as needed to make him comfortable and able to enjoy all the activities he loves to do.

Harley is in foster care in Salamander Bay NSW. Harley's adoption fee is $400 and will cover desexing, vaccination, treated for fleas and worms and microchipping.
