***Please Note: your application will not be answered or processed unless an on line application form is filled in on our website with all your full details www.d2dr.org.au/adopt***
Hi everyone!
Our names are Lady (11) and Vegas (12), and we are a bonded pair. We’ve been together since we were just little pups and still do everything together now as seniors.
Some of our favourite activities include snuggling, snacking, snuggling, oh yeah and telling our foster humans it is time for more snacks. We love all sorts of visitors to the house – kids, adults, other doggo’s, and one time we even met a cat. That was really fun! None of it really bothers us and we have a more the merrier approach after we welcome anyone who is coming in with a welcome bark, and a good sniff. Even though we are a bit older, we still love to play with our foster siblings from time to time chasing each other, and tumbling around.
We are both toilet trained and are happy to have a little nap if you need to go out for a while. Sometimes we have a little grumble but if you give us a treato when you leave it sweetens the deal and we then go to sleep. We get very excited when you come back to see us again and will talk and tell you all about our day, and give you lots of kisses.
We get excited for car rides, but unfortunately one of us gets sick (Lady) so she needs to have lots of air available and to be able to see out the window. Health wise, we are doing well and whilst we don’t have all of our teeth, this doesn’t cause us any problems.
At bedtime we will sleep in our own bed close to the foster humans, or snuggle up with them if this is an option. We sleep through the whole night, only sometimes waking up for a sip of water before hopping back in bed. We recently learnt how to use a ramp that the foster humans have to make sure we aren’t jumping, so it turns out you can teach old dog’s new tricks!
We have been both de sexed, vaccinated including heart worm annual vaccination, flea/tick, (bravecto), wormed.
We have both had almost 1/2 our teeth out, but don’t worry we have no problem eating anything at all!
We have both had some surgery, and we are now coming to you with a perfect health record with no health issues at all.
All our vet history is at D2DR’s vet at Brookfield QLD – unfortunately we have not bee to another vet for a very long time but we are now pain free from our teeth.
Hope to meet you soon!
Lady and Vegas
