About Xanadu
This beautiful, Xanadu, is now seeking her forever home.
Xanadu is a Boxer x Husky currently weighing 8 kilos at 10 weeks
Xanaduâs beauty will strike you the minute you meet her. Her photos donât do her justice. Behind those magnificent blue eyes is a snuggly little girl who has a strong sense of who she is. Xanadu loves to be with her pack. If sheâs not snuggling or playing with her human family, sheâs curled up in a ball or romping about with her furbaby brother or her doggy foster siblings and for this reason it would be wonderful for her to be a part of a family with a doggy friend for her to have adventures and cozy up to.

Xanadu has had 2 sets of puppy vaccines and has been wormed every 2 weeks
She is full of confidence and charisma and is an absolutely gorgeous girl
Xanadu comes with one of our adoption packs including puppy Harness,Lead,Seat Belt safety and a travel bowl
she has a very thick beautiful coat and in the heat does need to have a cool place to take refuge.
Xanadu is a fast learner. She mastered stairs in her foster familyâs house very early on and is often weeing on wee pads. Her foster family feels that she will toilet train easily. Xanadu is so happy to see her family in the morning. She lets out a lovely little Husky howl (in fact she sounds like a âWookieâ) in the morning to let her family know that sheâs up and ready to play. She does however have lovelymanners and snuggles with her brother all through the night, waking around 6:30ish.
OBEDIENCE
Xanadu seems to be a very quick learner. She comes out of her crate in the morning and goes to the toilet on the grass. Whilst she is not toilet trained yet, she often uses the puppy pads to do her business on. Although Xanadu is more slightly built than her siblings, she loves food and loves to be by her familyâs side so training her should be easy. Sheâs eager to please. If she finds something to chew on that she shouldnât have, a simple ânoâ will suffice.
ENRICHMENT
Xanadu spends hours on end rolling around with her brother and they love to play with their older foster siblings so another playful furbaby in the house would make her so happy. Xanadu likes to play with toys with her siblings. Tug of war with a rope toy is one of her favourites. Being a puppy, she does like to chew and can become excited when she finds some slippers lying around, however she has not been destructive. A kong and some nice strong doggy toys would be lovely for her as she grows up. Xanadu is an active dog and will grow to be quite big. It is important that she is gets regular exercise. Given that she has husky in her, she will feel the heat easily and provisions must be made for this as she grows older.
SOCIALISATION
She is very attached to her brother whom she spends hours playing and romping around her foster familyâs garden with and she loves to play with her two big foster sisters, a Jack Russel and a Kelpie. Whilst she is a very affectionate little girl, she has a strong sense of who she is and wonât hesitate to let the other dogs now if theyâre getting a little too rough for her. She is also learning to stop when she has taken her rough and tumble a little too far or has disturbed someone when they need a break.
