He is friendly with other dogs and loves to run and play. Kids – bring them on. He has been around kids as young as 5 and enjoys the energy they bring. He has been introduced to confident cats and done well in supervised situations.

Kelpies are loyal by nature and this boy is just that, he will not leave your side and will do anything for a few head scratches.

Prior to coming into care he didn’t have any obedience training but is now responsive, mastered sit and is understanding what recall is all about. He has been practising loose lead walking and is being a great student.

Digby loves to stretch his legs in the paddock, running along side the quad bike and is good with livestock and respectful, he'll just jump into the tray and wait while you tend to them. He'd make an awesome farm dog.

We are looking for a active lifestyle, not necessarily a city life. He will need to be inside with his family when they are home and a family that understands working breeds and their need for good physical and mental stimulation. He would benefit from continue training, or any dog sport type hobby.
