About Big Ted
Biggest at birth.
Smallest at last weigh in.
This boy makes up with it in his love for cuddles, snacks and attention.
Handsome is also a defining quality he believes.
Big Ted is looking for his perfect match
A home that is looking for an inclusive member of the family. His new home will have secure and safe fencing 5ft and above but rural fencing will be accepted as well for the right candidates.
He must be allowed to sleep inside with his new family throughout puppyhood and life; this is non negotiable.
He has been raised with dog savvy kids so could easily adjust to a home with kids who are confident in nature with a growing puppy and his antics.
He hasn’t met any cats/ livestock or poultry but being so young with the right training he is a good candidate for any of them.
His new home will have a good exercise and socialisation schedule to make sure he stays nice and kind to others. He doesn’t necessarily require a home with another dog so homes as only dogs will be accepted.
Due to his age he has been happy to accept any dogs of any age or size as a playmate.
We aren’t quite sure on his breed. His dad is unknown and his mum is 21kg and a Tiki special. But we would expect all sorts of breeds in his mix from staffy to kelpie to mastiff to bull Arab. Name it; it’s probably in there.
Big Ted is available to start meeting his new family now but won’t be ready to leave for his new destination for a few more weeks. His adoption fee is $650 and he is located in the Newcastle area.
He is available for NSW or ACT adoption only. We MAY consider interstate adoption but chosen candidates must drive from their location to meet him and collect. We don’t road transport or fly our dogs to new homes.
Please note that Big Ted does have other siblings available for adoption as well

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
