Hello, my name is Chedda. I don't respond to that name but I sometimes respond to ""Good Boy!"" because I get called that so often.

I am a young boy weighing 6 kg, standing about 30 cm tall at the shoulder. I am toilet trained. When I need to go outside I will let you know either by pawing at the door or sitting right beside it. I do not pull on the lead but may sometimes get under foot because I want to be close to you. I have not shown any signs of aggression, and I'm slightly wary of dogs I meet on walks.

I am not a demanding boy. I only ask that you let me up on the couch, and let me curl up on your lap or chest while you watch TV. If you stay on your phone for too long I will swat your phone with my paw to remind you that I need scratches. I want all of your affection and attention, because I'll give you all of mine too. I appreciate short walks, but I get tired quickly and may need to lie down on the grass.

If you have to go to work during the day, I can be left alone in the house. I scratch at the front door for a little while, but that's about it. I've never tried to get in the rubbish and I am not interested in chewing books or furniture.

I have been called an escape artist. I get agitated during car rides so I've always had to travel in a crate, which I don't like very much. I've also escaped from my foster carer once. I'd fit well with a family with time to spend with me, and a secure yard.
